Jason Momoa has clarified that while he may be “houseless” after his divorce from Lisa Bonet, he is not “homeless.” The 44-year-old ‘Aquaman’ actor recently finalized his divorce from the 56-year-old actress, and he revealed to People magazine that he is currently living on the road. Despite rumors that he is without a home, Momoa reassured fans that he is not lacking shelter, stating, “I have a nice trailer. Everyone’s like, ‘Jason Momoa’s homeless.’ I’m like, ‘Relax. I got a sleeping bag.'”
Momoa, who has a net worth of $40 million, expressed his excitement about eventually purchasing a house and settling down. He humorously remarked that people will be surprised when he does, saying, “Jason Momoa bought a home… he’s got a pillow now.” In the meantime, the actor has been traveling extensively across the United States while working on the docuseries ‘On the Roam’. He enjoys immersing himself in different locations and connecting with everyday people.
Despite not having a permanent residence at the moment, Momoa is content with his current lifestyle and upcoming projects. He will soon be traveling to New Zealand to film ‘Minecraft’, which means he won’t be putting down roots anytime soon. In regards to his divorce, Momoa and Bonet released a joint statement on Instagram, emphasizing their commitment to parting ways with dignity and honesty. Bonet had requested joint custody of their children, Lola and Nakoa-Wolf, and the couple had been separated for two years prior to the divorce filing.
