The film revolves around a 75-foot prehistoric shark attacking a research boat, and Jason’s character, Jonas Taylor, is tasked with saving the crew and preventing the shark from reaching the mainland. Directed by Jon Turteltaub, known for films like Cool Runnings and National Treasure, The Meg is set to Һit theaters in August.

In recent times, Jason has maintained a low profile in the movie industry after becoming a father to his son, Jack, with his fiancée Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The couple, who confirmed their relationship in 2010, got engaged in January 2016.
