Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, and Arnold Schwarzenegger Show Support at a Charity Fundraiser. Arnold Schwarzenegger, 70, was joined by Hollywood stars Sylvester Stallone, 71, and Jason Statham, 50, for a fundraiser for Schwarzenegger’s Inner-City Games charity. For the event, which took place at Schwarzenegger’s house in the affluent Pacific Palisades suburb of Los Angeles, the three dressed like cowboys.
After getting together on the set of “The Expendables” in 2010, the trio of action heroes have worked together on several follow-ups. The fourth edition of the franchise is presently in the early phases of production.
When Stallone shared a photo of the group on Instagram with the comment, “The NEW THREE AMIGOS! @schwarzenegger @jasonstatham,” he alluded to a potential new collaboration. At Arnold’s charity fundraising event tonight.”
The Inner-City Games were founded in East Los Angeles in 1991 with the intention of fostering a sense of unity, self-reliance, and confidence among young people living in inner cities. In just the first year, over 40,000 young people competed in both intellectual and athletic events. After the 1992 Los Angeles riots, Arnold Schwarzenegger was appointed Executive Commissioner for the Games. In 1995, the National Inner-City Games Foundation was founded, and the games were expanded to 15 cities, including more than a million youth.
In addition to helping to spread awareness for the Inner-City Games charity, Schwarzenegger, Stallone, and Statham’s attendance at the event highlighted their continuing friendship and camaraderie, both on and off the screen.
