BACK TO WORK: Saka, Gabriel, Martinelli – Arsenal ιnjury Update, Return Dates and News Ahead of Man City Clаsh

Arsenal will play one of the biggest games of their 2023–24 season, if not the largest, a week from now. Next week, the Gunners play Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in a match that might decide the season. While several players are out on international duty this week, Mikel Arteta has a list of players who will remain at Cobham. Four players have been sidelined or removed from their squads, allowing the team to work on their return to full fitness.

As of right now, none of the issues are considered critical, and Arteta anticipates having a nearly fully fit squad for the match. But during the build-up, his players’ fitness will be keenly watched. The latest from the Arsenal treatment room can be seen here

The England team announced the withdrawal of Bukayo Saka Saka ahead of their friendlies against Brazil and Belgium. Before a statement verified his departure from the camp, he worked on his personal fitness programme and skipped the whole Wednesday training session.

“Bukayo Saka has left the England camp and returned to his club for continued rehabilitation,” an England statement read. Due to an ιnjury, the forward for Arsenal arrived at St. George’s Park and hasn’t been able to train.

“No further replacements are planned as a 25-man England squad continue their preparation for the forthcoming internationals with Brazil and Belgium.”
