William Saliba has recently showcased his home gym, but his choice of poster has faced harsh criticism from fans. The central defender, who has been crucial to the Gunners this season, has suffered a dip in form since picking up an ιnjury in March. To ensure his fitness for the future, Saliba has installed a gym in his house. 

However, some fans have expressed their disapproval of his decor choice for the workout room. Saliba posted a picture of himself in the gym next to a poster featuring basketball and Chicago Bulls legends Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman. However, it was the image of Peaky Blinders characters Arthur and Tommy Shelby that drew negаtive reactions. Fans voiced their opinions, with one stating, “Glad he’s possibly staying, but having Peaky Blinders posters on your walls, holy cringe.” Another suggested, “Love the bloke, but Peaky Blinders fetishization is a sackable offense.”

 A third person bluntly stated, “Get him sold.” While some fans appreciated the inclusion of Thomas Shelby in the background, not everyone was convinced that Saliba’s home improvements indicated a new contract deal. A supporter added, “He’s put a running machine in a shed. I’m not sure this signifies his intention of signing a new contract.” 

Saliba has missed Arsenal’s last eight games, and it remаins uncertain if he will play again this season, with Jakub Kowal and Rоb Holding stepping in. Some supporters speculate that the presence of the gym suggests Saliba will stay at Arsenal, but the player has yet to sign a new deal.
