MrBeast’s Amazon Prime game show is poised to become the greatest competition in television history, with a $5 million reward for the lucky victor.

MrBeast is the world’s most renowned YouTuber, and he recently revealed that he will host an Amazon Prime game show titled Beast Games. 

Much like the 25-year-old’s YouTube channel, the show will feature enormous games and even bigger prizes, including the $5 million jackpot, which is reported to be the largest prize ever presented on television.

He doesn’t do things halfway, does he?

The designer, real name Jimmy Donaldson, is well-known for his online prize giveaways, which have included extremely expensive items and large sums of money.

But now that he has Amazon Prime Video’s backing, things appear to be on the verge of taking off. 

If stories are to be believed, Donaldson is also entitled a large financial award.

We don’t know much about the show other than that it’s been greenlit.

What we do know about Amazon Prime is that it will have 1,000 candidates and a massive reward in a ‘fast-paced and high-production format’.

MrBeast’s Amazon Prime game show aims to demonstrate that there is opportunity for crossover between YouTube content makers and mainstream entertainment.

If there was any doubt remaining.

Jake Paul and his brother Logan have ventured outside of the YouTube bubble into the worlds of boxing and WWE wrestling, while KSI has dabbled in the fight game, as well as presenting celebrity football matches and pursuing a successful musical career.

  
Now it’s MrBeast’s time.

Beast Games will be hosted and executive produced by Donaldson, and it will be exclusive to Amazon Prime Video.

In a statement, he said: “My goal is to develop the greatest program possible and illustrate that YouTubers and creators can succeed on different platforms.

“Amazon gave me the creative control I need to try and make it happen. I hope to make the YouTube community proud.”

Amazon MGM Studios head, Jennifer Salke, added: “MrBeast has captured the attention and imagination of fans of all ages, from all walks of life, and all over the world.

“We are excited to work with Jimmy and his talented team to bring his brilliant, high production, and stakes-raising concepts to Beast Games for our global customers to experience.”

Vernon Sanders, Amazon MGM Studios head of television said: “When MrBeast first told us about his concept for the show, we were blown away by his ambition to make Beast Games the biggest reality competition series ever.”

Given the success of MrBeast’s Squid Game material, as well as his continued status as the world’s most followed YouTuber, there’s a decent chance it’ll be a success.

The date for MrBeast’s Amazon Prime debut has yet to be announced, but we will keep you posted.
