Bradley Cooper invited his mother as his date to the 2024 Oscars!

The 49-year-old actor wore a black wide-leg Louis Vuitton suit to the Academy Awards for the sixth time as a nominee. He wore a white button-down shirt under his suit (which had blue buttons) and concluded with black dress shoes.

His last Oscar appearance was in 2022 when he accompanied his mother as his date to the program. Back in August 2020, the A Star Is Born actor spoke with Anthony Ramos for Interview Magazine about caring for his aging mother and his now-6-year-old daughter Lea De Seine.

“I’m with my daughter, mother, and two dogs, and we have not left the house,” he said at the time. “My mother is going to be 80, and she has a colostomy bag, so I can’t let anyone inside the house. And I can’t leave the house because if she finds it, it’s over.”

In recent weeks, there has been conjecture that the filmmaker may attend the Hollywood celebration with his new flame Gigi Hadid, publicly launching their relationship at an occasion. The two had been linked since October 2023, when they were seen leaving Via Carota in New York City together.

In December, a source told PEOPLE, “They had been discreetly dating for much longer before it became public and were very hush-hush, trying to see if things would work between them. They spent several months together secretly, and things have been going quite nicely.”

Throughout awards season, the Maestro’s leading man has worn a classic black-and-white outfit on the red carpet. At the 2024 SAG Awards, the actress donned a classic Louis Vuitton suit and tie. He wore a military trench coat to the 2024 BAFTA Awards, sticking with the color scheme and the LV name.

Cooper is up for Best Actor at this year’s awards ceremony, alongside Colman Domingo (Rustin), Paul Giamatti (The Holdovers), Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer), and Jeffrey Wright (American Fiction). 

The 96th Oscars will be broadcast live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre on Sunday, March 10, at 7 p.m. ET.
