Selena Gomez Makes a Swift Return to Social Media with a Cooking Video Featuring Gordon Ramsay… Just One Day After Declaring a Break
Selena Gomez recently made a comeback on Instagram just one day after announcing her intention to take a break from social media. The actress shared a cooking video on her Stories featuring celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. They collaborated in Selena’s kitchen, which offered a breathtaking view of the ocean. In the video, Selena expressed her love for breakfast sandwiches, tacos, and burritos when asked about her favorite breakfast food.
She also shared her method of making scrambled eggs with a little butter and occasionally adding milk, much to Gordon’s amusement. Selena, who will portray Linda Ronstadt in an upcoming biopic, revealed that her preferred snack on the road is chicken salad but admitted to struggling with consuming greens. When questioned about her guilty pleasure, she disclosed that she indulges in Jack-In-The-Box and listed her order as two tacos, two egg rolls, curly fries, and a chicken sandwich. After preparing their burgers, Selena enthusiastically exclaimed, “Holy s**t, this is so good.”
Before her return to Instagram, Selena declared her decision to take a social media hiatus amidst ongoing controversy surrounding an incident at the Golden Globe Awards involving Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, and her close friend Taylor Swift. Speculation arose when cameras captured Selena engaged in a serious conversation with Taylor and Keleigh Sperry, the wife of actor Miles Teller. It was suggested that Jenner disapproved of Selena posing for a photo with Chalamet, as Selena nodded affirmatively after Sperry mentioned his nаme. However, Selena denied this interpretation and clarified in the comments section of an E! News post that she was discussing two friends who had hooked up, emphasizing that it was not anyone’s business. Chalamet also confirmed that he and Selena were on good terms. Selena has previously recognized the importance of taking breaks from social media for her well-being and had even allowed her assistant to manage her account for over four years. Last year, she took breaks from social media on two separate occasions.
